Instructional Support positions are those positions not typically assigned to a self-contained classroom. These positions provide academic support to students and teachers, assess the behavior, mental and social/ emotional development of students and assist families, teachers, and administrators to ensure that students get the support they need. Compensation is based upon the teacher salary schedule; some positions may have a longer calendar than the traditional 10-month calendar.
