Safety and Security Emergency Preparedness (SSEP) Mission:

The SSEP Division provides services and support to help plan for, mitigate, respond to, and recover from safety, security, and emergency events which may impact the District’s primary mission of educating students.

Campus Monitor Position: Serving in an observe and report capacity, Campus Monitors assist in monitoring the campus and reporting safety and security concerns to specified personnel, communicating the need for emergency protective actions, and, in the event of a crisis, assist emergency responders with wayfinding and communication needs. 

Security Specialists Position: Working alongside school administrators and staff, Security Specialists help to create and maintain active and effective student supervision while proactively assessing and enhancing the safety, security, and level of preparedness in the learning and work environments of students, employees, visitors.

Armed Safe School Officer Position: Serving as in integral member of the school’s security and safety team, Armed Safe School Officers provide security and safety services for the school campus and protect the life and wellbeing of students, staff, and visitors while developing and maintain positive relationships with the school community.
