SENIOR PAYROLL ANALYST
FT LAUDERDALE, FL, US, 33301
POSITION GOAL
To be responsible for developing, implementing and administering and managing the Human Resources/Payroll Information Systems (HRIS) function.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position.
OR
- An earned master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position.
AND
- Required experience includes at least two (2) years of supervisory or administrative experience in payroll systems.
- Two (2) or more years of experience using computer knowledge for payroll compensation, a technical understanding of one or more commercial payroll products, and experience in database construction.
- Experience in implementing a Human Resource (HR) Payroll system.
- A high degree of personal and technical communication skills with a professional level of confidentiality in handling employee information.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree majors include business administration, accounting, computer science or related field.
- Experience in a public system.
- Bilingual skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District's approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the School Board.
