ROTC INSTR-CERTIFIED

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Must be officially retired from the United States military to include Reserve and/National Guard personnel and approved by the sponsoring service. 

Twenty or more years of military service documented as a commissioned officer for senior instructor positions at the time of official separation from military duty. 

Letter from respective service indicating that the officer/ officer has been certified to be a JROTC instructor by the service will be required. 

Additional Required Documentation Department of Defense Form 214 (DD214) for active-duty personnel National Guard Form 22 (NGB 22) for Retired National Guard Retirees Florida National Guard Form 37 (FNGF 37) for Retired National Guard Retirees (Note: Reserve and National Guard personnel are not given a DD 214 upon retirement).
