FOREMAN-CARPENTER/MASON

Education: - Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program
Experience: - Seven (7) years of recent carpentry or masonry experience and one of the following:
a. Satisfactory completion of The State of Florida Apprenticeship Program (Credit is granted for time served as an apprentice) In either Carpentry or Masonry .
OR
b. Broward County Certificate of Competency as Broward County's certification is a Specialty Building Contractor Certificate of Competency in Rough or Finish Carpentry. 
                           OR
c. Broward County Certificate of Competency as Broward County's certification is a Specialty Building Contractor Certificate of Competency in Masonry.

Special Requirements: - Must provide own hand tools.  Demonstrated knowledge building materials and methods used in all types of construction, renovation and repair. Must have a proper Florida driver's license with endorsements compatible with the assigned duties of The School Board of Broward County, Florida.  This position will include pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Hourly Rate: $35.63 - $.36.93 per hour
