DATA COACH SPECIALIST

POSITION GOAL

To provide expertise, support, and leadership in the identification, development, interpretation, and administration of district-wide and state assessments, used for progress monitoring or as formative, interim, and summative assessments, in alignment with the district testing calendar, state assessments, K-12 Reading Plan, and the District’s Strategic Plan. To enhance the academic performance and operational efficiency of the district by providing expert data analysis, interpretation, and application using appropriate instructional materials aligned to the State Standards. This role aims to support educators and administrators in making data-driven decisions, thereby fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Data Coach Specialist will work collaboratively with school leaders and staff to develop effective data strategies, ensure the accuracy and accessibility of data systems and provide targeted professional development to build capacity for data literacy and utilization.

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience.
• A valid Florida Teaching Certification.
• Demonstrated ability to design and evaluate the quality and usefulness of reporting solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor fidelity of implementation of program(s).
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
