OPERATIONAL ANALYST, PPO

POSITION GOAL
Ensure optimal utilization of divisional financial, capital, and human resources by providing operational guidance and analysis to maximize efficient and effective trades operations, outside purchased services, budget utilization, and parts/supplies distribution as well as the accurate reporting of same.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- An earned Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position.
- Requires degree major in Computer Science or Information Systems; Engineering, Accounting, Financial or Business Management; Public or Business Administration; Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or other related field.
- Requires demonstrated proficiency in applying advanced analytical techniques to solve operational problems for Physical Plant Operations (PPO), or a like organization.
- Requires advanced knowledge of resource utilization, data analysis, financial analysis, and accounting principles.
- Advanced computer skills are required for the position, including proficiency in database collection, management, analysis, and in-depth utilization of current versions of applicable software packages.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field is preferred.
- Bilingual skills.
SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS-frequency, contact, purpose
Frequently works with PPO Executive Director, department directors, managers, supervisors, and staff, and District Finance, Budget, and Education Technology Services personnel to coordinate resource needs, report on resource utilization, and provide input to systems development, implementation, and maintenance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District's approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the School Board.
