POSITION GOAL

To create and maintain a developmentally appropriate classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and to provide positive educational experiences for all students

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• An earned bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution. Certification in Pre-K/Primary: Age 3-Grade 3 or Preschool Education (Birth-Age 4).
• No experience required.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of early childhood education, federal and/or state standards, and content-specific subject matter.
• If assigned English Language Learners (ELL) students, completion of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses/requirements and endorsement outlined in State Board of Education rules and/or guidelines is required.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
