POSITION GOAL

To support the implementation of a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate school counseling program to support the academic, life skills and wellness, and college/career needs of all students.

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• An earned bachelor's degree and is currently enrolled in an accredited institution in a School Counseling graduate program and is in field placement (practicum/internship) or holds a master’s or higher degree with a graduate major in counseling other than School Counseling and is currently enrolled in completing the required Florida Department of Education course(s) to obtain a certificate in School Counseling.
• Ability to work with diverse groups.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
