
POSITION GOAL
To assist in assigned human resources functions which may include recruiting, onboarding, employee records, employee assistance program, unemployment compensation, risk management, training, data management, etc.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources Administrator I, II, III shall carry out the performance responsibilities listed below. Recruiting and Staffing:
- Provide information for and counsels with employees regarding their concerns with their program of benefits and claims thereof.
- Supervise the maintenance and updating of the benefits record system involving beneficiary designation, eligibility, and retirement.
- Coordinate the activities of benefits personnel involved in premium remittance and reconciliation with the various insurance carriers.
- Assist in the in-house administration of medical, group life insurance, dental/vision benefits and disability income and retirement programs.
- Conduct various feasibility and cost/benefit studies involving the analysis of underwriting experience reported by insurance carriers.
- Conduct surveys, analyze and maintain an organized body of information on employee benefit programs.
- Assist with the coordination of the activities of personnel involved in the processing of retirement applications, timely filing of retirement reports and maintenance of related information.
- Coordinate the preparation of appropriate literature, which describes the various employee benefit and retirement programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- An earned associate degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position.
- Bilingual skills.
SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS-frequency, contact, purpose
Works with District, school-based personnel, parents and students to perform daily tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District's approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the School Board.
